AIOU DTS 2025 | Degree Tracking System Complete Student Guide
The AIOU DTS, which stands for Allama Iqbal Open University Degree Tracking System, is a really advanced online system used by Allama Iqbal Open University in Pakistan. It helps students keep track of their degrees online. Any student, no matter where they are in the world, can use the AIOU Online Portal to check their degree status for free.

There are 3 main sections you can on the AIOU-DTS dashboard.
Incomplete / Returned Applications
Many educational and legal documents, such as CNICs and B-Forms, are required to be submitted to AIOU along with the admission form. Therefore, sometimes students submit their applications without checking the required documents because they do not have the necessary information. Then when the university checks their papers, they find that some are missing. They do not accept these incomplete papers and ask students to submit all the papers they need and re-apply. Therefore, it is important for students to carefully check and submit all the required papers. This shows how important it is to be careful and pay attention to details when you apply, so that you can join AIOU without any hassle.
On this page, there’s a screen where you type your Roll Number and click search. It will then find your application status and show it to you shortly.
In Process Applications
The second option you have is called “In-Process Applications.” Here, you can search for your application if you have already submitted it but it is still pending. On this page, you will see a screen where you can type in your Degree Tracking ID or your roll number to search for your application.
Online Applications
You can submit your new application through this page. This is the page where new students can create an account to get admission in AIOU. You can find a screen like the one in the image below.

- Application Status
Complaint About Not Updating Degree in AIOIU-DTS
Sometimes Your degree status may not be displayed in the AIOU-DTS portal. You can report such cases to the institution, and they will take action immediately.
Here are the steps to file a complaint to AIOU University:
- Write a professional complaint letter addressed to the chairman or examination department of AIOU Pakistan.
- Collect and provide all supporting documents that prove your complaint is valid and there is a glitch in their portal.
- Obtain the university’s postal address if you plan to send the complaint by post, or find the official email address from the AIOU Official Website.
- Send the complaint letter via post or email.
- Allow 2-3 working days for a response. If you do not receive a professional reply within this time frame, follow up accordingly.
